Doctoral Student Forum on MOOC Research (PKU-2017)

July 12-14, 2017, Beijing, China

After the great success of the previous doctoral student forum last year, we are pleased to announce the Doctoral Student Forum on MOOC Research (PKU-2017), which will be held from July 12-14, 2017 by Peking University in Beijing, China. This forum aims to provide participants an academic communication platform, focusing on discussing and communicating topics about the trends of research on MOOC. The Call for Proposals is now open and the deadline is May 15th, 2017.

Forum Date and Venue

July 12,2017 - July 14,2017, Peking University, Beijing, China

Themes of the forum include the following

  • New trends and innovation in MOOC and MOOC research

  • New pedagogical processes with MOOC

  • Metrics of success for learners and instructors of MOOCs

  • MOOC Learning analytics and data mining

  • On-campus use of MOOCs

  • Evaluation of MOOCs

  • MOOCs for teacher professional development

  • New and emerging models of instructional design,especially student-centered design approaches to improve their online learning experience

The forum plans to use a variety of engaging formats to convey knowledge and show application, such as presentations, panel discussions, demonstrations, parallel sessions.

Proposal Acceptance Notification: May 31, 2017

Guidelines

1.Proposals (for oral/poster presentation) should be submitted to this E-mail box: xlearning_center@163.com.

2.Proposals may be submitted by individuals or by groups of presenters.

4.Complimentary registration will be offered to a speaker whose proposal is accepted (for oral/poster presentation) by the Organizing Committee.
